Privacy

• Usage analytics.We run our own first-party analytics to count page views, see where visitors come from, and tell real people apart from bots. For each view we record the page, the referring source, your approximate location and device, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string. We set no cookies, do not follow you across other sites, and build no advertising profile. The IP address is personal data; we keep it only for traffic analysis and security, never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
• Outbound clicks. When you click a link to a vendor, we record that a click happened — which vendor, roughly when, and the page it came from — so we can see which information readers find useful. This is not tied to your identity.
• Your email, only if you give it. If you subscribe to updates, we store the address you enter so we can send them. Nothing else is required, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• Standard server logs. Like any website, our host records basic request data (such as IP address and browser) for security and reliability.

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not require an account to read anything on the site.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics is cookieless, so there is no consent banner to click through. Your browser may store small preferences locally — such as your age confirmation or a theme choice — but these stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Links marked as leading to a vendor take you to that vendor’s own website, which has its own privacy practices we do not control. Some of those links are referral links, explained on our disclosure page.

Wherever you live, and in particular under the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA (California), you can ask us to:

• Access — tell you what personal data we hold about you (an email address if you subscribed, and analytics rows carrying your IP address from any visits).
• Delete — erase that data.
• Correct — fix anything inaccurate.
• Opt out — stop all email. We do not sell personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

We action verified requests within 30 days and never charge for them.
