A ranking is a shortcut, not a substitute for judgement. Whether or not a vendor appears above, these are the five things worth checking — the same ones the rubric weighs:

    A certificate is only as good as the laboratory behind it. Look for a named, ideally ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab — not an unnamed or in-house one.

    Certificates you can actually read

    The best vendors publish per-lot certificates openly, without an account or a request. If you have to ask, that is a signal in itself.

    Labeled mass that matches assayed mass

    A vial labeled 10 mg should assay near 10 mg. A large gap between the two means you are paying for active compound that is not there.

  4. 4

    A real business identity

    A named legal entity and a physical address are basic accountability. Their absence does not prove bad faith, but their presence is a floor.

    Consistency across lots

    One clean certificate can be a fluke. Reproducible purity and label accuracy across several lots is what separates a good vendor from a lucky one.

  • Certificates are available only “on request” or behind an account.
  • A wide gap between the labeled mass and the assayed mass on the certificate.
  • No legal entity, no address — no way to hold anyone accountable.
  • The only reviews are the ones hosted on the vendor’s own site.
